Welcome To The 2009 Country Heir Horse Shows!

March 20-22 We have an “A” Show at Roberts Arena in Wilmington. We are excited to see the improvements that have been made and will continue to be made now that it is under new management. Roberts is giving everyone $35 off their stalls for this show so be sure to come and try out the new footing and see all the new improvements!

May-Plans are under way for a 2 day show at Country Heir Farm in Fayetteville. If you haven’t been there be sure to put it on your calendar, it’s a MUST SEE! Footing doesn’t get better ANYWHERE. You can see pictures of the farm and stabling on this website under the photos tab

June-Here we all are at the beautiful Kentucky Horse Park. This year we are once again limiting the stall reservations in order to keep the length of our show days comfortable for all. Be sure to make your reservations early. Campers spaces at the Kentucky Horse Park will no longer be handled through the Horse Show offices. All reservations must be made through the Kentucky Horse Park Campgrounds for both the Show grounds spots (near the Walnut Ring) and the campground. 40 Spots are being held for Horse Show exhibitors, first come first serve. Exhibitors should call Reserve America at 1-888-4KY-PARK (888-459-7275) or make reservations online at www.parks.ky.gov.

We will be hosting a $15,000.00 USHJA Hunter Derby on Saturday evening. June 13th. Many exciting plans are still in the making at this printing, but are guaranteed to include FOOD. The Derby will be held in the all new Stadium and we will be offering a limited number of tables under the pavilion! Please reserve these on your entry blank or by calling Frankie Stark at 513-875-3318. The Grand Prix prize money will be $40,000.00 in the Week I Grand Prix and $50,000.00 for the Week II Grand Prix. We are offering a $10,000.00 Welcome Prix Week I and a $15,000.00 Welcome Prix Week II, a $10,000.00 High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic each week, a $7,500.00 Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper classic each week, and three Young Jumper Championship (YJC) qualifiers and three Young Jumper classes with $3,000.00 total prize money each week. What about the Children’s and Adult Amateur Jumper riders? Hang on to your hats…we’re offering a $10,000.00 NAL/WIHS Children’s/Adult Jumper Prix in Week II. Check out the new Intermediate Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic both weeks with prize money of $1000 and NO Jumper Nomination fee.

Let’s not forget the hunter riders. Both weeks are USEF “AA” rated to insure the highest quality of competition and the greatest number of qualifying points you can possibly earn. The best of the best will compete for “AA” points and prize money. It doesn’t get any better than this!!!! For those of you in the ever popular Children’s and Adult Amateur Hunter divisions, how about a $10,000.00 Hunter Classic week I with a complimentary Brunch under the Stonelea pavilion! $1000 Pony Hunter Classics are offered both weeks as well as Children’s and Adult Hunter Classics week II only.
